Terms of use and refund policy

These terms apply to facecheckup.com and everything on it: the free scan, the guides and the paid Full Face Report. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who can use the site

You must be at least 18. The scan asks you to confirm that before it runs. Do not use the site on behalf of anyone younger, and do not scan photos of children.

Your photos

• Scan only photos of yourself, or of an adult who has agreed to it. You are responsible for having that permission.
• Do not use the site to mock, harass, rank or embarrass anyone, or to create or share results about a person without their consent.
• Your photos are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to us (see the privacy policy). You keep all rights to your photos.

What the results are, and are not

FaceCheckup measures proportions and symmetry in a single photo and compares them with published research. It is information and entertainment. It is not a medical, psychological, dermatological, orthodontic or surgical assessment, and nothing on the site is medical advice. Results depend heavily on the photo: lens distance, head angle, expression and lighting all change them, which is why we show a range and refuse photos that fail our quality check. The Balance Score is not a measure of anyone’s worth, and it does not predict how attractive other people will find you. Style suggestions are labelled as conventions of stylists, opticians and makeup artists, not scientific facts. If anything about your appearance is causing you distress, please talk to someone you trust or a health professional.

The Full Face Report

• Price: US$12.99, charged once, with no subscription and no renewal. The price is shown before checkout, and you pay it through Stripe.
• What you get: everything listed on the report page at the time you buy. The report is digital content, generated in your browser from photos that stay on your device, and you can open it immediately after payment.
• Access: your purchase unlocks the report on the browser you bought it on, and you can re-open or re-run it there. If you lose access, email us with your purchase email and we will restore it.

Refund policy

No refunds for change of mind. Because the report is digital content delivered immediately, and you can see exactly what it contains before you buy, we don’t offer refunds because you changed your mind, didn’t like a result, or bought by accident and then opened the report. You will be asked to confirm this at checkout.

We fix it or refund it if it fails. If the report doesn’t load, doesn’t include what the report page promised, or you were charged twice, email sukielovesupport@gmail.com within 30 days with your purchase email. We will either fix the problem so you get the full report, or refund you in full if we can’t. This does not limit any rights you have under consumer-protection law.

EU, EEA and UK buyers. You normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital content supplied immediately, that right ends once delivery starts, provided you agreed. At checkout we ask you to confirm that you want the report delivered straight away and that you understand you lose the right to withdraw. Your agreement is recorded with your order and repeated in the item description on your emailed receipt. If you do not tick that box, the purchase cannot go ahead.

Please contact us before opening a chargeback with your bank. We answer quickly, and a failed report is always fixed or refunded.

Acceptable use

Do not try to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the paid parts of the site, and do not resell the report. Do not use the site for anything illegal, including uses that breach someone’s privacy or biometric-privacy rights.

Our content

The text, diagrams and code on FaceCheckup belong to us unless credited to someone else. Photos and quoted material from other sources are credited where they appear, under their own licences. You may quote short passages with a link back.

No warranty; limit of liability

The site is provided “as is”. We work to keep measurements accurate and sources current, but we don’t promise the site will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim about the site or the report is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and purchases are governed by the terms in force when you bought. Questions: sukielovesupport@gmail.com.
